Yesterday was a fine day indeed. The MN House voted to allow same-sex couples to marry, so now it's off to the MN Senate for another vote on Monday! Woo! Go MN! I've always enjoyed seeing MN as a little island of blue in a sea of red states in the middle of the country. And while I loved growing up in Wisconsin (I think it was a great place to be a kid) once I came to Minneapolis for college, I never, ever considered leaving. I know a lot of people love the state where they live, but man, oh man, do I love MN!
T-shirt - Target
Pants - thrifted girls Land's End, altered from long flares by me
Wedges - Dezario
I'm not usually one to jump all over trends, especially one as ubiquitous as floral pants but printed pants are super fun! These are a fine corduroy and because I altered them myself from a pair of girl's flares, no one else will have the same pair as me! I like to call these my "couch pants" because something about the print reminds me of a couch. Or drapes! Like the Sound of Music!
