Rad plaid

OMG dudes, rollerskating was the craziest thing ever. We went to The Roller Garden in St. Louis Park, and it was R&B/hip hop night and you have to be over 25 to get in. It was insane! Have you ever seen someone breakdance on rollerskates? Crazy! There were so many characters there. Everyone was so good! I think a lot of them are regulars and it was so fun to see so many different styles of skating. I was seriously blown away. I also got to skate to some slow jams with an ex-boyfriend and I ran into the only person I've ever fired. I think he's gotten over it though, since he didn't yell at me when he saw me (besides, he soooo deserved to get fired and he knew it). Anyway, everyone go rollerskating!

Tonight I'm going to see some short films at a local art school (including one made by my friend Matt  who is majoring in film!) I'm dragging Mr. T along, so some of the friends will finally get to meet him. Then we're going to the SXSW send-off concert because I got free tickets because I am awesome. The end.

P.S. I stole these pants from Rupert Bear. I hope I don't get attacked by rabbits later. I'm allergic.

That sounds like an incredibly rad series of days/events/funtimes. I wanna go to an adults-only rollerskating party!

p.s. LOVE the pants. Love 'em.

Roller Garden RULES! Tho I've never been to Hip Hop night. I'll have to put it on the list.

I, too, covet those amazing plaid pants.

Those pants are great. I haven't been to Roller Garden in years, but that is where we went for all our school roller skating field trips as a kid. I imagine it probably hasn't changed much since then.

What a coincidence I am going rollerskating tomorrow!

I think possibly because you mentioned it previously, and it reminded me of where I used to skate. So thank you!

Thos trousers are excellent, by the by!

i LOVE skating (in any form) and i totally have always wanted to go rollerskating but never have (i went roller-blading when i was in middle school but that was because i thought skates weren't cool because i wasn't cool. my boyfriend doesn't really know how to skate so he never wants to go, the lame-o-saur.

anyway, sounds awesome :) great pants!

Omg those pants! I love them.

I actually whined at my Hubby that I wanted to go roller skating after reading this post. Our little roller rink is the "tween" hang out though! I've been once before with friends. Hoping to wear him down though!

waaaaa... Our Roller Gardens shut down and became a gym. Skating around holding hands under the disco lights? Magic...
Plaid cropped pants? Magic as well.
