I had a fun but strange weekend. Friday I went to Transmission's 10 Year Anniversary Show: A night of punk, post-punk, new wave, synth pop, Brit pop, and indie rock. Which was awesome and so fun! I feel like I never go dancing anymore because I'm not really into a lot of modern dancey music, so this was perfect! Transmission is a local dance night, but it is always on Wednesdays so I rarely go. Saturday I went thrifting with Mr. T, then he had to go to a baby shower so I hung out with a few friends and had a night of girl talk and karaoke. Sunday I watched a bunch of documentaries with a friend of mine who is a film major.
I feel excessively quirky in this get-up:
Scarf - Lucky Jeans
T-shirt - Target
Belt - thrifted
Skirt - thrifted
Bangles - thrifted
Socks - Target
Shoes - thrifted unworn xhilaration

It might be excessively quirky, but it is also excessively awesome. I love the combo of vintage/granny/totally badass that is going on here. :)
this skirt looks amazing on you! i love pleated skirts, but they don't go well with my big hips!
That skirt is fantastic.
Those shoes are so cute! I didn't know that Target makes those! They look so vintage! :)

Fabulous blue skirt! I love how you paired a midi-length skirt and socks and still manage to look so tall. Fabulously awesome.
I love how you updated the long skirt here - such a great look!
