Dinner, Supat, and Etsy

So my friends and I are having a Death Row Dinner on Sunday. Everyone has to bring what they would request to be their "last meal." I need ideas! What would you pick?

I have the day off so I am glued to the TV and the coverage of the earthquake in Japan and tsunami. My friend Supat is there, but safe in the airport in Tokyo. He keeps updating his Facebook with photos, so I am currently in love with technology, for reassuring me every hour that he is still safe.

Updating the etsy today too, so here's a little preview:

I would pick that it wouldn't be my last meal. I'll bet there'll be some really good food there.

I would go with pulled pork in a burrito because that is currently one of my favorite foods!

anything with a cilantro lime sauce. OR my friend makes a brazillian steak chilli that uses a chocolate bar as part of the soup. that would get my vote.
and your vintage eye is so great. i love so many of these pieces.

And I love the idea for a Death Row dinner party. Can't wait to hear about what you and others brought.

So glad your friend is safe.

I would have Belgian waffles, epic amounts of fresh fruit, whipped cream, coffee, toast. Basically: breakfast + carbs. What an awesome idea for a party. :)

Glad your friend is safe. I think I would have a big southern meal of chicken fried steak (something I never eat). Sounds like a fun dinner!

I make an amazing goats cheese and cherry tomato lasagne. I can brag about that without feeling like a jerk because it's the only thing I can make.

I've dragged myself away from the coverage of the earthquake/tsunami. Here they're just showing the same footage over and over, and it feels a bit voyeuristic to watch the same wave crashing on the same houses over and over, knowing that people were probably drowning down there.
