Anyway, yesterday I was catching up on some blogs and reading Tavi's opinions on Marni's Fall 2010 RTW collection, and there was something familiar about one of the looks...
So today I wore this, using their look as inspiration. I feel like a granny... in the future. I also feel like the general public will think this is outfit is ugly and crazy.
Jacket - Nick & Mo, from crazy $2 outlet store
Dress - thrifted, it's been for sale in my etsy forever so I figured I'd finally wear it myself
Belt - thrifted Frye
Knee-highs - Target
Shoes - MIA
Sometimes... Sometimes I get carried away.

I actually like this outfit! The thrifted Frye belt is what makes it :) Don't you love finding expensive designer things for so cheap? It's awesome! I always seem to find designer purses like that, and I wonder who gave them away? :)

I love that outfit--way to own the knee-highs, too.
that's such a good version of that runway look!!
amazing!
I like your look WAY better. And I adore me some Marni.
You always make knee socks look so cute! I love this outfit...it is WAY better than the inspiration one. You look great!

I actually really like this too! The pattern on the dress is fantastic and I like how you added the yellow with it.
I'm a fan! Not too many people could rock the knee-high look, but you, my dear, totally can!
