Hmm, I am supposed to be wearing purple because it is the Vikings first game today, but I really dislike purple and don't own very much purple clothing... eh, oh well. You can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be watching the game tonight with my boys, screaming at the TV like I'm in a beer commercial. And perhaps wearing the vikings horns from my Maude Lebowski costume...
Vest - thrifted
Oxford - thrifted J.Crew
Necklace - self made
Skirt - thrifted Banana Republic
Socks - Target
Shoes - Bakers
I made this necklace out of some chain, safety pins, and some circular stones that were once part of the neckline of two dresses I ripped apart and remade into a tear-away ball gown for a middle school production of "Once on this Island."

I love your do-it-yourself necklace!
You have to teach me how to do the socks-and-heels thing, lady. I LOVE the look on you!
it's so nice of you to pass on the purple to pay homage to Favre's team before the insanity instead with green and gold :-P (sorry, nothing personal - especially as a Bears fan married to a Packer-Backer living in MN ... I have a lot of gridiron issues to sort through) The outfit is very cute! Love the shrunken vest and the socks :o)
Do you have any pics of the tear-away ballgown? That's awesome!
I always like it when you pair heels with knee socks. Very cute.

Love the natural hues of this outfit. And you wear the socks with sandals so well. I used to work for a BSA camp so I have this love for long olive green socks.
