Purple nurple

For some reason, all I want to wear this spring is thin oxford shirts. I was pretty amazed by this vintage double-breasted one.
Shirt - thrifted
Skirt - thrifted
Shoes - thrifted vintage Candies

I generally hate purple, I don't know why. It's my least favorite color. I have a grandma who pretty much wears purple exclusively (well, purple and gold)... so basically, she's Jared Allen.

Ok, not really. She would never rock a sweet mullet like that boy. That comparison cheered me up a bit though. I am ridiculously annoyed right now by the fact that a rude person, was rude to me. Shocking, I know. Grrr, long weekend get here now! My best gay is turning dirty thirty on Saturday so some ridiculous dancing and porching (yes, that is a verb) will occur! Plus my pool is open! And my balcony is finished! And I finally got screens on my windows! And the Twins beat the Yankees! Everything is coming up Milhouse Christine!

Did you hear that Jared Allen shaved off his mullet? I'm no fan of the guy, but I fear that he might have lost his mojo with it. I think purple does wonderful things for your coloring, but I also understand not liking colors for perhaps no good reason. For me, its pink. I can't stand pink, but I still wear it, when it's presented in the right way.

Sorry to hear about the rudeness ... there's just no reason for that. I hope your fantastic weekend plans help compensate!

I hate purple for an unknown reason as well, but love this outfit! And I am now officially introducing "porching" to my vocabulary. Now, if only I had one. Have a good weekend!

Double breasted shirts are always a good thing.

I am impressed by your ability to find such cute shoes at thrift stores.

This is a great purple outfit. Purple is actually one color I am not afraid of, but don't wear too much because it seems very young.
Your Milhouse comment is killing me.
Boo to the rude person (think about what a crap life they must have, though) and yeay for awesomeness coming up. Porching? I miss porching. I was an awesome front and back porcher. In fact, I was so good that I once killed the swing (no one was hurt).

Well, lady, you look great in this shade of purple. And now I want all my oxfords to be double-breasted because that shirt is dynamite!

That's one of my fave Simpsons quotes. My husband and I constantly say it(and about 2340973 other quotes to the point of annoying anyone that hangs out with us).

Thank you, thank you, thank you for saying "everything's coming up Milhouse"! I say it at least a few times a week, and only a handful of people ever know what the hell I'm talking about. Further proof that you and I need to hang out this summer (I'll be in St. Paul in mid-August...thoughts?)
