Ok, first things first, I LOVE my new job! I could go on and on, but you don't need to hear all that. It's just so refreshing to be around nice kids that I can be nice to, instead of disciplining all the little hoodlums from my last school. Anyways, I did finally join wardrobe remix, but am torn on trying to dress fun for wardrobe remix (and myself) and wanting to remain pretty tame for the first week or two of school. Here is yesterday, the first day of school!
Necklace - thrifted
Shirt - American Apparel
Skirt - Future Paradise
Shoes -Chinese Laundry
The second day...
Shirt - FutureLint
Belt - thrifted
Pants - hmmm Kohls?
Shoes - Bongo
and here is me from "Jim's Farewell Friendship Fake-n-Wake"... (which I would NEVER wear to a real wake, in case you were confused)
Capelet - thrifted Ann Taylor Loft
Dress - Express
Belt - thrifted
Boots - thrifted
Take Back Labor Day was good. It was a pain to get to because so many roads were closed, and then we started to wander into the cloud of tear gas unleashed on the protesters on the bridge to Harriet Island, so had to walk all the way back and go down another bridge. We made it but it took miles of walking to get there. So worth it. Awesome concerts and a great way to spend Labor Day! Plus, it was like a whole freak show down there. I don't think of Minneapolis as much of a hippy town, it's got more punk rock roots, but the streets around the RNC... wow... just wow. I'm glad I was down there and saw all that weird stuff going on down there... it was kinda sad though, seeing parents with small children just sprinting away from the cloud of tear gas, carrying tiny kids who were holding their shirts over their faces... boo.

I'm so excited you joined remix! You're going to be quite the w_r hero, just you wait :)
...and I so love the "Fake-n-Wake" title. Totally creepy, but hilarious at the same time.
Dig those boots!
I wanted to Take Back Labor Day with the cool kids, but I've been dodging the cops left and right (well, mostly the RNCrs for fear I might just run them all over 'cause I want to) in Minneapolis, so I can only imagine what STP is like!
OOO. I love the turquoise shoes SOOO much! Fabulous! Both outfits are lovely but the second is definitely my favourite, the belt is divine...
Hahaha, I was going to take teaching in university but the idea of dealing with hoodlums scared the life out of me!
