Not quite a Cosby sweater

I'm generally not into much '80s stuff, but for some reason I love this vintage sweater! Maybe because it reminds me of stuff my mom and aunts wore when I was a kid?
Glasses - Prada
Sweater - thrifted Leon Levin
Scarf - TJ Maxx
Jeans - thrifted The Limited
Shoes - thrifted Target

Last night I went to the Best New Bands 2010 show at First Avenue... I know, I'm still a walking death trap and shouldn't be staying out until 1:30am on a school night, but it's one of my favorite shows of the year and I already had tickets! Plus, you can't beat $7 for seven awesome bands (Ok fine, five awesome bands and two shitty bands, in my opinion.) Anyway I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow since we don't have school (the end of the semester is today!) The only thing I have to do tomorrow is go to my Lasik consultation at 1pm, wahoo! Hopefully I will be a candidate and end my 23 years of wearing contacts and glasses sooooon!

Good luck at Lasik!

I got my brother a bonefied rainbow-y, crazy-patterned Cosby sweater at Savers last year. He wears it around to be ironic (and to annoy his girlfriend) but a guy at my work has the same sweater (in neutrals) and seriously wears it all the time. It makes me smile.

Hope your consult goes well! I had my LASIK about 5 years ago and I have not had any regrets. Although I do wear my glasses (with plain glass in them) from time to time, just for nostalgia's sake.

I was at the show last night, too!

I didn't stay for the whole thing (I went mostly for BNLX), but I have to agree with you about the price being right.

Love the sweater.

this sweater is not very 80s, it could be from the 70s aswell. any way - it looks very cute and comfy!

I think the sweater is great! I don't mind 80s stuff when it isn't too over the top, and I think this piece is a classic!
