The Original and The Interesting

Navy blazer - thrifted little boys
Blouse - vintage, from the Seoul Folk Flea Market in Korea
Jeans - Paul & Joe for Target
Shoes - thrifted Santorini

Details, details:

Does this vintage blouse I found in Korea look vaguely familiar? Oh, maybe because you've met it's mass produced cousin? Tucker for Target?

I'm on to you, Tucker. You think you can just take my blouse, make the dots bigger, and sell it to the masses???? I won't have it! Ah well, as they say, "What's old is new again." and "There is nothing new under the sun." and whatnot. So I forgive you. Just this once. Since I pulled a copycat yesterday.

Speaking of yesterday, what did I do last night? Attended The Most Interesting Show in the World of course! It was put on by Dos Equis, had free admission and free beers and was hosted by Andrew W.K. It was pretty hilarious. There were contortionists, an illusionist, a burlesque dancer, and a bunch of other freak show/side show acts! Plus Andrew W.K. sang (screamed) a few songs! Party Hard! (which I did not since it was a "school night" after all!)

That top is fantastic. I like the Tucker for Target version, but yours is even better since it is unique.

That is so funny!! Before I scrolled down I totally thought "That looks like the Tucker for Target blouse with smaller dots". And I REALLY want to go to The Most Interesting Show in the World. Party hard, indeed.

I like this outfit a lot. And I'm sure your top isn't made out of crappy material like the Tucker one! I ended up skipping their entire line after trying on a dress.

I have to say that I prefer this top to the Target one (thank God, my ethics DO still exist!). The smaller polka dots are more pleasing to the eye, I think.

That most interesting show in the world sounds...interesting. I'd go anywhere that was free and had a contortionist. Well, okay, not anywhere...
