Dia de los Muertos

It's Dia de los Muertos! I've always been fascinated by the Day of the Dead, since I first learned about  it in middle school Spanish. I love the idea of celebrating the lives of the dead and making it a joyous and funny day! Plus, you get to cook up all this awesome food and buy cute little Catrinas! And anything involving skulls gets a thumbs up from me! So I wore my calavera t-shirt from my shop today!
Hair wrap - belt from a thrifted dress
Cardigan - Daisy Fuentes
Belt - thrifted
Skirt - thrifted Merona
Shoes - Michael Kors

Psst... I know I don't have to remind you to vote, because you were going to anyway, right??? Fun fact: my polling place is a high school. When I went to vote two years ago, a boy asked me to his school's winter formal, The Snow Ball. He was very disappointed when I told him I was 27 and would not be accompanying him to a high school dance. It was pretty high-larious!

Happy Day of the Dead. Today, my kids and I are making Pan de Muerto, and painting plaster skulls that we made yesterday :)
It's nice to see people recognize this holiday.
Awesome shirt btw :)
