A cartoon sweater, A journey home

No, my sweater does not have cartoons on it... it just seems like the kind of sweater that a cartoon would wear as their "signature outfit."
Sweater - thrifted
Oxford - Thakoon for Target
Shorts - Paul & Joe for Target
Socks - Target
Shoes - Linea Paolo

I guess because it reminds me of Charlie Brown.

I've got a terribly busy day. Work, home to do yoga, pick up my disabled buddy Daniel (we're going out to dinner for his birthday, he turned 23 on Tuesday!), off to St. Paul with the boy to see Evita at the Ordway (our friend James is in the show!), a quick drink with James after the show, home to pack because I am flying home tomorrow morning for a funeral. In high school, my friend Amy and I were inseparable. I spent a LOT of time at her house. I was the Paul to her Kevin, if you will...
and the fact that I was spending the night most weekends soon became assumed. Anyway, her father died so I'm going home to go to the wake. He was a hilarious and generous man and would always try to get the gossip out of me about who Amy liked and what was going on in her life that he didn't know about (usually in a ridiculous girly voice). Have a fabulous weekend, while I'm so sad about her dad, I'm excited that I'll be able to see my parents and my brother (and his new house, which is closing tomorrow!).

Sorry about your friend's loss.

I was going to comment that the sweater reminds me of Charlie Brown, and then I kept reading and saw the Charlie Brown picture.

I was totally thinking C.Brown when I saw the sweater. You're looking great. I hope you have a good day.
My sympathies about your friend's father.

Sorry to hear about your friends dad, my condolences.

I get the cartoon thing except for those super fab shoes and knee highs.
