Day two, another day of tackling Mt. Saint Paperwork. But on the plus side I got to bike to work today (I had too much office stufffffff to haul yesterday so I took the bus.) Unfortunately I've gotta waitress after work today (though luckily it's my only shift this week!)

We got them designed by ElloThere on etsy and I'm in love with them! We just sent them a few photos of our profiles from some of our engagement pictures in the photo booth and they whipped them right up! Don't they look just like us? They even included Nate's birthmark on his cheek and my nose ring! I'll show you the whole invitation after the big day (which is rapidly approaching!) Ahhh!

First day of school (again)

It's a brand new school year and I'm so excited to be back at work! I had a fun summer, but as always, I'm ready to get back in a normal routine.

Yesterday was my last day on the bev cart at the golf course for the season. I'll still waitress or bartend a bit here and there, but I was excited to be done driving around the course over and over. See you in hell, weeping willows! Or, see you next summer.

I've got a leaning tower of paperwork to get to, so I'm off to start some exciting data entry! Woo! Immunizations! 

Whoops. Sorta.

Wellllllll, that was a month long break after a pretty pathetic month of June... and honestly it'll probably continue this way until school starts again in September. Between waitressing/bartending/bev-carting, my special needs buddy, my etsy shop, wedding planning, and house hunting - I really haven't been too motivated to photograph outfits or blog lately. But, I don't want to forget this whole summer, so I figure I have to post at least a few times. So, here goes! My summer so far!

Nate turned 30. I'm no longer a cougar. :(   He also quit smoking cold turkey over two weeks ago and so far has been doing great! :)

We went to a Twins vs. Yankees game on July 3rd. Baseball and fireworks, FTW! And we got tickets for only $5! Woo!

One day I volunteered at the U of MN Children's Hospital for their annual Turtle Derby. It's a fundraiser for the hospital's Fun Fund and it was the cutest/saddest thing on Earth. Is there anything sadder than a sick little kid attached to all sorts of IVs and tanks and tubes? No. Is there anything cuter than when they're outside, just being a kid for once and they dunk you and they start screaming and jumping and laughing all at once? No. It was awesome. Nate may or may not have dunked me twice too... which the kids found hilarious since I told them we were engaged. Also: turtle racing.

I spend 11 hours a week with my special needs buddy Daniel. We've been hanging out at least once a week for over 9 years and he still makes me laugh.
