Eyes? What eyes?

Yes, I got the Lasik. I fought the laser, and the laser won. I am trying to distract you from looking at my eyes with my shiny, shiny arms. I also want to be able to hide under my hat if need be...

Shiny distraction arms:

Don't they distract you from my bruised eyeballs? Wanna see? You don't? Too bad... if I have to have them, you have to see them...  and they will slowly get better looking, but it will take up to a month for the bruising to clear up. Boo. I also can't wear any mascara or eye make-up for at least a week.

This was caused by them SUCTION CUPPING MY EYEBALLS. It didn't hurt when they did it and they don't hurt now, they are just really dry feeling. Which is fine because I have to put in three different kinds of eyedrops a million times a day... well, basically every half-hour to hour. My vision is already pretty good, I'd say about 90% as good as when I wore my contacts (and my prescription was a crazy strong -8.5). I'll post more about the surgery tomorrow, but everything went well, so for now I've got to go to work!
