Just peachy

It was still dark this morning when I woke up at 6:30, which I am not used to. I was so tired and feeling like a bad grown-up for not going to bed one hour earlier. Then I got on my bus and there were less than half the normal amount of people riding the bus. Suddenly, I feel like Super Grown-Up. I may be tired, but I got my hiney out to the bus stop on time!

So Saturday I went to see my friend James perform in Cabaret, on a boat, no less. It was really good! Then last night my friends and I had our "Death Row Dinner" where everyone brought what they would want for their last meal. I made this garlic chicken soy-sauce pizza stuff that is super awesome. The recipe is from an old Real Simple magazine. There was tons of homemade mac-n-cheese, biscuits and gravy, fondue, pizza, BLTs, plantains stuffed with cheese and guava, fruit salad, turtle cheesecake, Oreo ice cream pie, carrot cake, and far too much wine and brandy old-fashioneds. Awesome!

    Your meal sounds awesome. Now I'm in the mood for biscuits and gravy, which is one of my guilty pleasure foods.

    If I were to eat a death row dinner, I'd probably go into a sugar coma from the amount of candy I'd consume.

    The daylight savings time is killing me too! I love that you're rocking a little boys blazer. It's totally looks just like the shrunken blazers you can find in stores today!

    Gorgeous necklace! The meal sounds amazing. I think my 'death row' meal would be a steak, a baked potato and a big piece of cheesecake.

    I really like the jacket you're wearing! A good blazer goes a long way. Also, what a clever idea for a Death Row Dinner! That'd probably be the best tasting meal ever. All the favorites on one table!
