I was carrying this skirt around the crazy outlet store by my house as a back-up, in case I didn't find a new year's eve dress. I found a dress I loved, but got the skirt anyway because who doesn't need a black sequined skirt for 80% off??
Necklaces - from when I worked in an orphanage in the Dominican Republic
T-shirts - Target (would ideally be wearing only the short sleeve one but didn't want to freeze all day!)
Belt - thrifted
Skirt - crazy outlet store
Tights - Target
Shoes - Modcloth (free thanks to Winona from Daddy Likey!)
P.S. yes, I know the ombre tights make me look like I have bad frostbite/gangrene on my feet and calves..
P.P.S yes, I know I probably shouldn't be wearing black sequins with brown leather, but I love it!
What is this crazy outlet store of which you speak? DO tell, as I adore that skirt!
ReplyDeleteThe Opitz Outlet! I've been so good and stayed away for almost a year... then I went to get a New Year's Eve dress and came out with that dress, this skirt, and a Marc by Marc Jacobs dress... I can't stop thinking about a Missoni dress there either but talked myself out of it because it was still $140!!
ReplyDeleteI have actually been thinking how much fun a black sequin skirt would be! I imagine it would hard to be anything but cheery when wearing such a skirt!
ReplyDeleteLove the brown leather belt and shoes - makes the sequins perfect for day time!
ReplyDeleteI like the ombre tights you're sporting and no I actually don't think the brown belt goes bad at all. Dresses your skirt down perfectly for a day look.
ReplyDeleteHoly crapzilla! (don't ask, it just came to me.) I LOVE the combo of the black sequins with the brown leather. So great!!
ReplyDeleteA sequin skirt is a must!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, bless Opitz. That place is like heaven.
