Sorry for the absence yesterday, I accidentally fell asleep in my contacts for about two hours ELEVEN days ago. They have been red, sensitive to light, and burning ever since. I refused to go the dr. for said eyes even though the thought of going blind terrifies me more than anything on earth. Although, the thought of a single eyepatch is intriguing...
So I finally went to the doctor and got some drops and will avoid going blind/wearing an eye patch for the time being. Seriously considering Lasik after this debacle though...
Anyway, today...
Cardigan - Target
Striped shirt - TJ Maxx??
Belt - thrifted
Skirt - Rodarte for Target (clearance)

Also a big hello to my lovely reader who recognized me at the Junk Bonanza on Saturday. Sorry I was anything but eloquent. You totally caught me off guard! I've only been "recognized" once, and on that day I had been drinking whiskey for 9 hours in a horse-riding helmet, so I was all "Ooooooooh! Hiiiiiiii! Blah, blah, blag, blog, blah!" Regardless, it was nice to meet such a sweet and cute reader and hopefully I will learn to function as a normal human adult in social situations sometime soon... but don't hold your breath.
I would totally turn into a ball of "ums" and "ahs" if a reader found me in real life. I can barely keep my shit together in scheduled meetups.
ReplyDeleteIn other news, this is a fantastic damn outfit.
An eye patch would be super stylish, though probably inconvenient. Once again, I'm loving your knee socks and heels combination.
ReplyDeleteWhat a FAB way to style that Rodarte skirt!
ReplyDeleteI miss Pushing Daisies so much!
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit, btw!
I absolutely love this outfit - the styling, the colors, the shoes with knee socks. It's one of my favorites on you!
ReplyDeleteI hearya on the contact debacle. One time falling asleep and it messes me up too. I hope the eyes get better!

Lasik is so worth it! Really. I promise. Everyone told me that the only thing I'd regret is not having it done sooner. They were right. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI like how you styled up the skirt...
ReplyDeleteAnd that much damage from falling asleep with contacts... I do that a lot. Uhoh.
Um... why would you not what to look like one of the Darling Mermaid Darlings?!
ReplyDelete*sigh* I, too, desperately miss Pushing Daisies.
Ooh, I've done that! Painful :(
